Canadian Quality Inspections (CQI) is a Winnipeg, Manitoba based certified Welding Inspection Organization. We provide quality control, quality assurance, visual inspection, non-destructive testing and coating inspections for pressure piping, pressure vessels, structural steel, mobile cranes, industrial equipment and manufactured items.
We are looking for a Field/Shop Heat Treatment Technician to join our team and continue to grow the Heat Treatment Department. - Knowledge of and ability to use all tools pertinent to the trade
- Install thermocouple wires, ceramic pads, insulations and banding.
- Follow all company and client safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned.

- Industrial experience is preferred

- Perform visual welding inspections as per CSA W59 and ASME
- Oversee material, receiving reports and ensure compliance with contract specifications
- Verify P&IDs with completed Field Construction
- Document control, RFI submissions and as-builts
- Generate and submit QC Turnover documents to clients as required at the completion of contracts
- Other duties as assigned
The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
- Must be a Canadian citizen

- Welding Inspection Certification (CSA W178.2)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own transportation is required
